| Abstract: | Teatru Astra, in collaboration with Impresa Fasano, presents the programme of the 4-act tragic opera Norma", written by Felice Romani, with music composed by Vincenzo Bellini, and produced by Prof. Franco Vacchi, with musical direction from Mro. Joseph Vella. The performance featured the Teatru Astra Orchestra (conducted by Mro. Joseph Vella and led by Mario Bisazza) and the Teatru Astra Opera Choir (directed by John Galea and Maria Frendo). The performance was held on the 30th March and the 1st of April, 1990, at Teatru Astra, in Victoria, Gozo. |
