Abstract: Manoel Theatre present the programme for the vocal and instrumental concert "Three Centuries of Maltese Music", artistically directed and co-ordinated by Mro. Joseph Vella. The concert featured the musical works of Giuseppe Balzano, Girolamo Abos, Benigno Zerafa, Nicolò Isouard, Anton Nani, Carmelo Pace, and Joseph Vella. The performance was held on the occasion of the Third European Conference of Ministers responsible for the Cultural Heritage, on the 16th of January, 1992, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Programme includes list of featured music including composers and featured performers, notes on composers Giuseppe Balzano, Girolamo Abos, Benigno Zerafa, Nicolò Isuoard, Anton Nani, Carmelo Pace and Joseph Vella, essay with photo on the history of the Manoel theatre, and note with photo on the Bonnici Palace acquired by the Manoel Theatre.
