Abstract: Manoel Theatre present the programme for a vocal and instrumental concert conducted by John Galea, led by George Spiteri, presented by compere Louise Casha, and held on the occasion of the Opening of the New Air Terminal at the Malta International Airport. The concert featured the participation of the St. Julian's Choir, and starred singers Tanya Parlato Trigona (soprano), Marie Thérèse Vassallo (mezzo soprano), Brian Cefai (tenor), and Anthony Montebello (bass). The concert featured the musical works of Benigno Zerafa, Carlo Diacono, Ferdinando Camilleri, Mendelssohn, Bizet, Puccini, Verdi, and Mozart. The performance was held on the 9th of February, 1992, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Two copies of programme included, one with performers' signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include list of featured music including composers and featured performers, photos of singers Tanya Parlato Trigona, Marie Thérèse Vassallo, Brian Cefai and Anthony Montebello and conductor John Galea, essay on the present and future of the Malta International Airport, note with group photo on the Julian's Choir, and notes advertising other events held in celebration of the opening of the new terminal of the Malta International Airport with details on visiting it.
