| Abstract: | Metabolomics is the process whereby metabolites are profiled in biofluids, cells and tissues. With the advance of informatics and other analytical technologies, metabolomic profile analyses are being used to understand physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms. Thus with other –omics, research into metabolomics is showing potential to be another useful tool in understanding health and disease, and help in their management. |
