Abstract

If there ever was any need of proof, the experience of the past twenty years has clearly demonstrated that the initiative taken by all the stakeholders involved in the setting up of the University Gozo Centre back in 1992 has yielded ample fruit. The continued collaboration of all these stakeholders throughout the past twenty years, together with the encouraging support and involvement of all those who accepted to offer their services to hold the varied courses and lectures, are a clear sign that the decisions taken back then, and others taken along the way, were and still are beneficial for Gozo. The Ministry for Gozo sustained this initiative, in every possible manner, throughout the past twenty years, during which the UGC was established and continued to thrive.
