The Human Rights Programme of the University of Malta is organising a conference on the theme of ‘The Role of Human Rights Bodies in Promoting a Human Rights Culture’, on 10 December 2015 at Radisson Blu, St. Julians.
The Conference is open to the general public and will be of particular interest to professionals and students working in the field of human rights protection.
An international line-up of speakers will address the conference which will present a diverse and interdisciplinary set of studies. Topics include legal frameworks for human rights institutions, the main determinants of a 'human rights culture', the connection between access to justice and human rights bodies and how a National Human Rights Institution can contribute to democratic processes and practices.
