Mental health is not something that we can automatically have, it is something that we build every day, with resilience.
It is something that affects how well we cope with life. Seeing what's going on around us at this time, our coping skills are more important than ever.
In preparation for this winter, some students at the Department of Mental Health have prepared five mental health tips for the University of Malta's Facebook audience.
- Surround yourself with good people, that you have strong connections with (while respecting current social distancing rules, of course!)
- Beat your stress by doing something you are good at
- Practise journaling to keep track of the good things that happen in your life
- Make yourself a priority; practise self-care
- Pay attention to the present moment
