Dr Lino Bianco, a resident academic at the Faculty for the Built Environment, was invited by the Consejo de Aseguramiento de la Calidad de la Educación Superior (CACES) to collaborate in the final phase of the review and evaluation of publications relating to architectural history.
CACES is a public constitutional body of the Republic of Ecuador whose remit includes the evaluation, accreditation and quality assurance of higher education. Its objectives include the promotion of quality scientific and academic publications and strengthening the editorial and content validation procedures that give scientific and academic credibility to journals.
Bianco, who is also professor of the International Academy of Architecture, visiting professor at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (Sofia) and honorary professor at the Technical University of Georgia (Tbilisi), is a reviewer of Scopus journals on architecture and a member of the editorial boards on a number of scientific journals.
