Infrastructure Malta is the agency entrusted with the development, maintenance and upgrading of roads and other public infrastructure in the Maltese Islands. Its responsibilities range from multi-million investments in the re-development of the country’s arterial road network to the development, reconstruction and maintenance of residential streets and other structures, including maritime facilities.
Recognising the importance of facilitating the academic to work transition, Infrastructure Malta is offering the following internship opportunities to current students following the Bachelor of Science degree in Built Environment Studies and the Master of Engineering Degree within the Faculty for the Built Environment. In this respect, Infrastructure Malta is collaborating with the Department of Spatial Planning and Infrastructure within the Faculty for the Built Environment.
Two internship schemes are being offered namely:
- Internship 1 – For students currently in Year 3 of the Bachelor of Science degree in Built Environment Studies and students in the first year of their Master of Engineering within the Faculty for the Built Environment.
- Internship 2 – For students in their second year of the Master of Engineering programme within the Faculty for the Built Environment.
