From determination to graduation: Emily’s inspiring journey at UM

Emily has graduated from the University of Malta with a Master of Arts in Cultural Heritage Management. 

An autism activist, Emily has navigated university life with determination while also advocating for disability rights and greater awareness. Her journey has inspired many around her with its resilience and purpose.

In recognition of her achievement, Emily was nominated by the Department of Conservation and Built Heritage and presented with a gift from Carisma Collections.

Emily shared what sparked her interest in Cultural Heritage Management and reflected on her path to university, highlighting how her experiences shaped both her studies and advocacy work. She also spoke about her future aspirations and encouraged prospective students to pursue their goals.
