Lisa obtained her PhD from the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research, Alliance Manchester Business School at the University of Manchester, UK. Her research focuses on aspects related to environmental and sustainability innovation; foresight and stakeholder participation. She has experience in mapping research and innovation policies and trends in the national landscape in Malta and in the use of foresight and forward-looking tools for policy development. Lisa has participated in European research projects addressing developments in foresight and diffusion patterns of emerging technological innovations. Her publications are in the areas of environmental innovation, participatory foresight and the impacts of emerging technologies on a micro-economy.
