The ASEMI principal investigator, Johann A. Briffa, was invited for a pre-recorded interview (in Maltese) with Mario Xuereb for his series Ras Imb Ras on national TV. The discussion started with the ASEMI project, continuing with the nature of such international research, involving specialised facilities, and the funding of such work. In closing, the local uptake of STEM education and the public dissemination of research work was also mentioned.
