Funding for dissertation research from the Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS)

Every year, the Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS) compiles a list of topics about which it would be particularly interested to support students in conducting research for their dissertations. Students who would be interested in submitting proposals for their dissertations can refer to this list when searching for ideas for a topic.

The list of research topics which would be relevant for the FSWS for the academic year 2015 - 2016 can be found here.

Please note that any student interested to carry out research within the FSWS would need to follow a procedure, details about which can be found at this link.

Bachelor in Social Wellbeing Studies (Honours)
The concept behind this degree is that students are free to “design” their own undergraduate programme by registering for a number of elective study-units (timetable permitting) on offer by the various departments within the Faculty for Social Wellbeing. These would be study-units which they consider most suitable for their academic interest and career plans alongside a number of compulsory core units.
