DESCRIPTION Course in Spanish Language Level 6.

This unit takes up where Spanish Language 5 left off although it is also suitable for students who already possess an intermediate-advanced level of Spanish. Having successfully completed this unit, students will be able to deal with real situations of language along with native people with a standard of language high enough to express themselves without difficulty and independently, namely, master Spanish language enough to function in normal life situations that do not require any specialized terms.

Study-unit Aims:

The aim of this final study-unit is to enable the student to cover the second part of four of the B1 or 'Intermediate' level of competence in Spanish language on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as set out at http://www.coe.int/t/dg4/education/elp/elp-reg/Source/Key_reference/Overview_CEFRscales_EN.pdf

Learning Outcomes:

1. Knowledge & Understanding:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to produce simple connected text on topics, which are familiar, or of personal interest; describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

2. Skills:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to interact with public and private organizations; participate in administrative and formal discussions; file a complaint; describe problems and offer possible solutions using direct and indirect speech.
