DESCRIPTION Etiquette skills are not an option – they are an essential requirement. Image and etiquette will make the difference when applying for employment and in overall life options. Through this unit, students will be given the opportunity to acquire a set of skills which will help them develop and maintain professional and business relationships with a ‘cutting edge’ difference. It will also strengthen one’s presence, project a positive, confident, professional image and reputation, and thrive in any situation with finesse and ‘polish’.

All categories of etiquette training will be covered in this study-unit: business, social, international protocol, telephone and dining etiquette.

Learning Objectives

The aims of this unit are to:
- Empower students through etiquette;
- Empower a positive change in their lives;
- Enhance the decorum, elegance, societal savoir-faire and a cosmopolitan view on the world uniquely distinguishing you in all that you do.

Unit Material

Appropriate unit material will be provided by the tutors during the sessions. There are no set texts for the unit, though tutors may recommend appropriate manuals to students who would like to take their work in this area further.
