DESCRIPTION This unit aims at providing students with a platform to conduct specific projects related to Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport. These may include seminars, conferences, tournaments or any other sport related events. It will also investigate contemporary influences on physical activity, sedentary behaviour and healthy lifestyles. Topics will include health outcomes of physical activity and inactivity, the measurement and promotion of physical activity, attitudes, psycho-social influences, leadership and behaviour change.

At the end of the unit, the students will demonstrate the ability to organise large scale activities taking into consideration various aspects including marketing, funding, approvals, logistics and volunteers.
