DESCRIPTION | This study unit includes the osteology of the upper limb, including in-depth study of the bones and joints of the upper limb. Detailed description of the upper limb muscles and muscle groups, including the main muscular attachments and their nerve supply is covered as well as the movement/s carried out by the respective muscles. This study unit also covers the vascular supply of the upper limb and important relations. Outline of the ossification process of bones, important ossification centres and surface markings of the upper limb are also described.
