Ms Kaja Slonina is the Head of the Open Science Department at the University of Malta Library. Her work focuses on managing the Institutional Repository OAR@UM, liaising with local journal publishers and promoting Open Access in Maltese academic community. She is also a member of the interdisciplinary team responsible for developing the UM's Open Access Policy. Ms Slonina has an extensive experience in the field, having previously worked in university libraries in Poland and Spain, and holds a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science obtained at Jagellonian University in Krakow and University of Boras in Sweden.
