Study-Unit Description

CODE FRE3007

TITLE Théorie et littérature/ Theory and Literature

LEVEL 03 - Years 2, 3, 4 in Modular Undergraduate Course

ECTS CREDITS 4

The study-unit deals with diverse literary theories. There are academics who have regarded writing as textile, the production of text. In this light some theories of intertextuality will be examined, for example the relationship between two texts by two authors. The unit will also deal with autobiography as a genre and see the distinction between autobiography and autofiction. Then the figures of style of the antimodern. Included in the programme is the imaginary and especially the poetics of the imaginary.
