The study-unit deals with diverse literary theories. There are academics who have regarded writing as textile, the production of text. In this light some theories of intertextuality will be examined, for example the relationship between two texts by two authors. The unit will also deal with autobiography as a genre and see the distinction between autobiography and autofiction. Then the figures of style of the antimodern. Included in the programme is imagery and especially the poetics of imagery.
