DESCRIPTION The fourth core placement takes place in the fourth year of the course and is spread over two semesters. Trainees will have the opportunity to continue practicing family therapy under the supervision of the placement supervisor, as well as a reflecting team of co-trainees. Trainees will continue working with families and couples presenting with various difficulties in the respective placement settings, taking into account organizational issues that have an impact on service delivery. This will help trainees to continue to integrate and consolidate their systemic practice.

In addition, trainees will have the opportunity to continue reflecting further on their practice with the coordinating tutors of their practicum. Here, they will be expected to continue linking to their practice, the relevant theoretical systemic concepts and make sense of the major systemic paradigms.
