| DESCRIPTION | Der Schwerpunkt dieses Kurses liegt auf den Fertigkeiten Sprechen (mit Aussprachetraining) und Schreiben. Grammatikalische Themen, die vertieft behandelt werden sind unter anderem Satzbau, Wortstellung, Konjunktiv II und Adjektiv. Basis dieses Kurses ist zum Beispiel die erste Hälfte des em neu Hauptkurses oder ein anderes Lehrwerk der Stufe C1.1 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen. Study-unit Aims: This study-unit aims to: - exercise the students' ability of spoken and written German; - create awareness of certain grammatical aspects of German outlined in the course description; - practice the use of more complex sentence structures; - amplify the students' vocabulary in German; - understand certain aspects of the German grammar outlined in the course descriptions better; - know and understand more German words; - know how to use certain aspects of German in order to write and speak better. Learning Outcomes: 1. Knowledge & Understanding: By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to: - make use of a wider vocabulary; - make use of more complex language strutures; - speak more fluently in German; - write more complex texts in German. 2. Skills: Speaking and writing skills will be the main focus of this study-unit. In addition, the following aspects of German grammar will be treated in depth: sentence structures and word order, subjunctive II and the adjective. As a basis for this study-unit the first part of the textbook “em neu Hauptkurs” might be used, or any other textbook of the level B2 of the European Framework for Languages.
