| DESCRIPTION | In this study-unit the productive skills writing and speaking will be studied in depth by making use of more complex topics and linguistic structures. Main areas of grammar will be indirect speech, sentence connectors, prepositions and the declension of the noun. As a basis for this unit the second half of the textbook "em neu Hauptkurs" might be used, or any other textbook of the level C2.2 of the European Framework for Languages. Sprachpraxis 4 In diesem Kurs werden die Fertigkeiten Schreiben und Sprechen anhand von komplexeren Themen und sprachlichen Strukturen vertieft. Grammatikalische Schwerpunkte bilden die indirekte Rede, Satzkonnektoren, Präpositionen und die Deklination der Nomen. Die Grundlage kann die zweite Hälfte von em neu Hauptkurs oder ein anderes Lehrwerk auf der Niveaustufe C2.2 bilden. Study-unit Aims: This study-unit aims to: - practice the productive skills of German, namely writing and speaking; - amplify the students' vocabulary of German; - create awareness of certain complex structures of German grammar. Learning Outcomes: 1. Knowledge & Understanding: By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to: - know more German words; - understand the grammatical structures of German outlined in the course description better; - understand more complex texts of German better. 2. Skills: By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to: - make use of a wider vocabulary; - speak German more fluently by using more complex sentence structures; - use more complex grammatical structures in written and spoken German; - write more complex German texts.
