DESCRIPTION This study-unit will be concentrating on the teaching role of the European Studies teacher in the Digital Age. Students will evaluate European studies material on the net. They will familiarise themselves with multimedia technology for an innovative teaching and learning strategy and evaluate innovative methods of teaching for imparting knowledge to students.

Study-Unit Aims:

The aim is to:

- Evaluate the innovative ways for imparting knowledge to students;
- Examine the use of multimedia technology to enhance the teaching experience and engage all learners;
- Emphasize the importance of having a balance between traditional methods of teaching and contemporary ones, constantly focusing on empowering students to think critically and analytically.

Learning Outcomes:

1. Knowledge & Understanding:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

- Evaluate the various innovative methods of teaching the subject;
- Examine the use of multimedia technology for a more effective teaching experience;
- Use pedagogical strategies which engage students and help them develop critical thinking skills.

2. Skills:

By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to:

- Adopt various innovative methods for teaching European Studies;
- Be familiar with the wide range of multimedia technology to be used for the teaching of the subject;
- Impart knowledge in a way which fosters active participation from the learners.
