| DESCRIPTION | This set of lectures will discuss the history and theory of conservation, starting with definitions of the most important terms. It will go on to discuss the attitudes of different eras, including the neo-classical period, the development of restoration in England and France, and the philosophies of some of the important names in the field, as well as the modern school of thought of restoration.
