| DESCRIPTION | Participants on the placement will gain valuable experience in coaching and management to assist and deliver instructional sessions. Participants will also produce written documentation on the planning and delivery of the sessions (15 hours) and a log of administration work (15 hours) carried out. The placement includes 30 logged hours. This unit will be assessed through the presentation of a file reflecting the preparations that the students will do, and a log of the work exhibited both in the 15 hours and the 15 hours of management practice. Study-unit Aims: This placement is intended as part of the practical component of the whole course. It aims to give the students the hands-on experience in integrating coaching and management of their chosen sport with their preferred age group. Learning Outcomes: 1. Knowledge & Understanding: By the end of the study-unit the student will be able to: - put theory into practice in coaching and management in sport. - develop his/her knowledge needed in coaching and management associated to it. 2.
