DESCRIPTION A thematic approach to the subject of Religion will be pursued. The themes discussed will include religion and science, religion and the nature of evil, religion and history, religion and ethics, and religion and death. In preparation for each seminar, the students will be invited to read a chapter of the text and write a short paper about the topic. The theme will then be thoroughly discussed and analyzed during the seminar.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
(i) Integrating themes in Philosophy and Theology.
(ii) Introducing students to themes in the philosophy of religion.
(iii) Guiding students in thinking and writing analytically on the subject of religion.
