No prior skills are assumed, but students are offered the possibility of developing skills which are sufficient for them to conceive, "see" and communicate their design concepts visually. Emphasis is placed on the development of students' motor control by means of freehand and mechanical drawing, and by the development of analytical and objective observation from life and three-dimensional objects through the application of Gestalt Theory and grounding in Visual Communication and Perception.
