| DESCRIPTION | Tchoukball is a relatively new sport only being introduced in the 1970s. It is played with 2 teams of 7 players each. This sport is a fast, explosive and contactless game where you would improve your fitness, reactions and decision-making skills. Overall it is a fun way to get active and get to know other people! Sessions will be around 1 hour long twice a week over a period of 8-12 weeks. Unit Material: Appropriate unit material will be provided by the tutor during the sessions. Assessment: Attendance is obligatory and students need to have a minimum of 50% attendance. In keeping with the spirit of Degree Plus, there is no formal assessment associated with the unit. A certificate of attendance and of satisfactory completion of the unit will be provided at the end of the semester. |
