Issue Date: 2015
Abstract: Web applications run in a web browser and can be accessed wherever there is an Internet connection, thus creating problems in areas where there is no Internet access. At present, a very important requirement of cloud computing, is universally guaranteed broadband and wireless networking, due to the fact that access to the cloud is often disrupted when a reliable and fast internet connection is not available. This gave rise to the development of offline versions of various applications. Creating such applications is not a straightforward task for developers, as these offline applications require a substantial amount of programming, as well as desktop-based versions to accompany them. Therefore it is through this project that we aim to provide means for facilitating the implementation of such offline applications.
