Abstract: Emeritus Prof JA Camilleri from La Trobe University of Melbourne, Australia, talks about China's rise as a major power. Professor Camilleri is one of Australia's leading International Relations scholars. With over 30 years experience, Professor Camilleri has pursued a wide range of research interests covering almost the entire gamut of the International Relations discipline. These include regional and global governance, the political economy of Asia-Pacific, thee role of religion and culture in international affairs, the politics of oil and the Middle East, and security policy (including weapons non-proliferation).
Description: The Lectures series on Campus Fm 103.7 is a transmission of public lectures, mostly but not exclusively, held at the University of Malta. These include lectures from the Works in Progress Seminar Series, Language Planning and Lights on Theatre Traffic.
