| Abstract: | This editorial writes about the importance of conserving and protecting heritage which is common to everybody. It speaks about two projects which would help not only to preserve but also to bring about cultural awareness. These projects are the proclamation of the Dwejra region of Gozo as world heritage and also the closure and rehabilitation of the rubbish dump situated between Xaghara and Marsalforn. This editorial stresses the importance of preserving and educating the public not only about historical and archaeological heritage but also about the physical and natural environment. |
