Abstract: The purpose of this dissertation was to put into practice writing and reading skills through process writing and reading respectively. This project consisted of a set of lesson plans together with handouts, worksheets and resources, and was experimented with a Form 3 Secondary Class. To be sure that students have grasped the information from the reading lessons, they were expected to produce the genre related to the lesson. On the other hand, each writing lesson consisted of a particular stage of the process writing. After each lesson, we gathered the students' work as to monitor the development of their writing. The students were to improve their skills as expected in Skaluni through a thematic syllabus. They presented their final product in the form of a classroom newspaper. Evaluation was based on open-ended questionnaires, interviews and reflective writing in a research diary.
