| Abstract: | An editorial about the Gozitan diaspora in Australia. The people who left in the 50s and 60s have now grown to become senior citizens. Despite this, they still feel a strong connection with their Maltese and Gozitan roots. This can be seen in the movement of people between the two countries, something which even Maltese Bishops do. Last October Gozo Bishop Mario Grech undertook such a journey and was warmly welcomed by the Maltese community in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. |
