| Abstract: | An editorial about the risks involved in the making of fireworks and how the public should be protected against these risks. This raises the question of what the role of the government should be in this issue; should the hobby of the few be sacrificed to protect the many? The author postulates that this is a communal responsibility and that if the general public was made more aware to the risks involved in the making of fire works then it would not put firework makers through this risk. After all there are other ways to celebrate parish feasts. |
