| Abstract: | In this section we intend to give a systematic account of the religious life of Amos' contemporaries based on the information examined in the preceding section and any other external data. We shall classify the evidence under various headings: the Deity to whom they directed their worship; the places whither they went; the personnel of the sanctuaries; the installation, and finally the cult itself. |
