| Abstract: | Promulgating the feast of the Queenship of Our Lady by means of the Encyclical letter Ad Coeli Reginam, His Holiness Pope Pius XII has affirmed that he was not imposing a new truth to be believed in by the faithful, but only honouring Our Lady with a title which has been hers since early times, as witness both the Fathers of the Church and the Liturgy. |
