| Abstract: | In this study, the author has collected a good number of words of practical utility, classifying them according to their etymological origin to give an idea of the lexical structure Semitic-Romance of the language still spoken by the entire population in the Maltese islands. The two lexical elements merge into one homogeneity of compact composition that is a lively source of different ways of lively expressions in the spoken language and a growing one number of literary works in prose and verse. |
