Abstract: In this issue of BOOKMark we celebrate women in different spheres for the upcoming Women's Day held on the 8th March. This is done through a list of influential women in history - each having contributed to women's rights in a different way. In this issue's getting to know, Clare Azzopardi tells us about what made her become a writer whilst Stefania Buhagiar's experience of being an architect in the On the Job section. A very interesting article about Frankenstein written by Mary Shelly gives us that there is more to the story then the monster which is now part of pop culture. Readers are in for a treat, with a book review by one of our very own librarians.Tips to help you study also include a very interesting technique of using mind maps with the help of Gerald Grech. Michael Grech also provides an interesting opinion piece. More works from our students are showcased through the Rokna Poeti and a very interesting piece about the Holocaust. For those who are interested in taking up exercising Roseanne Dimech provides some great tips on how to reduce stress through exercise and physical activity.
