Abstract: | This paper is partly based on my personal reflections as teacher, researcher and practitioner. As you may know, I have been engaged in spiritual care research and education since 1991. I had encountered several incidents in clinical and personal situations in which spirituality was called into play, for example, patients making spontaneous recovery and my personal crises and spiritual distress becoming distant memories. |
