Abstract: The role play describes an ordinary day at a hospital orthopedic ward. The patient is a female with a broken arm. This patient is semi-dependent and therefore needs help in some of the activities of daily living. The play starts with the handover from the night nurses then moves on to the routine experienced during bed baths. Issues like lack of information giving and wrong drug administration are highlighted. The play is a mime accompanied by chosen music to explain better the situation that we are presenting.
