| Abstract: | It hardly needs pointing out that decision-making is a central feature of classroom life and that the teacher as the person responsible for what happens inside the classroom, is at the focus of the decision -making process. What I intend to do in this chapter is to discuss decision-making, the role of the teacher as decision-maker and the context within which decision-making occurs. But perhaps I must first clarify what a decision is and the different kinds of decisions one can make. |
