| Abstract: | This new book deals with various topics of current interest to the community including with the changing patterns of disease. Significant changes within society, as well as new research findings have resulted in changes in our concepts of disease, their causes and their effect on the individual and society. There is no doubt that genetic as well as environmental factors are responsible for the generation of disease, yet, while the former have been fixed for generations, environmental factors seem to keep changing all the time. |
