Abstract: The “reawakening” of culture and cultural identities formed this consciousness of the necessity to manage with the organization of ethnic and cultural diversity by policies that endorse ethnic and cultural minority groups’ contributions and access to the sources of society and keeping the harmony of the nation. Such diversity symbolizes most of the nations in the world, and that with the finish of the cold war and bipolar international order, identarian rights of ethnic, religious and cultural diversities are starting to become stronger, is not a new concept. These growths, which occasionally result in conflicting circumstances and catastrophes for instance Bosnia and Rwanda, really test the States, which react to it by different policies, which differ from assimilationism and integrationism, to differentialism. The final, not deliberately regarded, includes unintended barring, implied in social, economic, cultural and institutional concepts, and also as active barring, which could go all the way as apartheid and also genocide Multiculturalism is a democratic policy retort for dealing with cultural and social multiplicity within a society. (Gamson, Joshua.1995 pp. 390-407). The European Union has lately announced a cultural policy. This contains representative initiatives, amid which is the formation of the ‘European Cities of Culture’ (ECC), that are some main example of EU efforts at developing European awareness by promoting its signs, while regarding the substance of national cultures. This goes along with the understanding that the notion of ‘Europe’ as the base of an individuality is crucial for the legitimization of the European Union. If we will understand how Europe is, it is significant equally to take European Union signs schemes extremely, and to try and hold the specificity of such signs and the odd circumstances of their usage. (Monica, Sassatelli. 2002 pp. 435) Culture comprises the manners of thinking and performance which are conveyed from one generation to the next, established by straight contact between groups, family members, friends, work colleagues and community Culture also embraces how individuals direct themselves the way they reason, how they move, how difficulties are resolved, how their cities are prearranged and placed out, how transportation systems function and are prepared, and also how economic and government systems function together. (Vassallo, Brian Joseph. 2014, vol. 7, no. 1) All over the biosphere, growing cultural diversity is becoming a main issue for social and political alteration. This reveals extra encounters to current models of the state and the nation. As a comparatively new state having one of the largest immigrant populations in the world, Australia is a step ahead of other states in looking for to enhance its national identity and its concept of citizenship. In half a century we have shifted far from the barring White Australia Policy and left the notion behind that individuals of diverse backgrounds can just be integrated into the current dominant culture. Such multicultural policies, which syndicate credence of cultural alteration with a strong attitude of social justice, are effectively increasing international.
