| Abstract: | An assessment of the success of a Development Plan can be made in a number of ways. As a first step a clear statement of the aims of the plan can be compared with the results that were attained provided that account is also taken of the unexpected characteristics of the particular economy during the period under review. Assessments can also be attempted using international comparisons of similar countries. |
