Abstract: This research paper explains the relationship between low cost airlines and low cost accommodation. The tourism industry is well aware of low cost airlines and how popular they are, but low cost accommodation is a newer term. The main focus in this paper is on how people spend most of their money when traveling, on whether they spend most on airfare, accommodation or on other aspects. It also analyses the strongest combinations by type of airline and by type of accommodation.
