| Abstract: | This dissertation is about exploring other types of accommodation which can be thew newest trends on the tourism market. Research will also focus upon the changing elements of cultures and people through the years. The hospitality sector is no longer based solely upon hotels but it is more than that. This research will focus mainly upon monastic experiences and a detailed description will be given to St.Augustine’s Monastery in Victoria Gozo as part of a case study. The result are quite similar to the examples discussed within the literature review of this research. Personally, I found this research quite interesting and have introduced people to this new concept of monastic tourism. |
