Education was the journal of the Faculty of Education at the University of Malta, published between 1982 and 2001. Until 2000, the journal was published under the title "Education"; later the title changed to "Education 2000". The publication aimed to provide a forum wherein local and foreign educators were able to write about topics in education which would be of great interest and relevance to the local context but might not contained the international bearing to appeal to foreign publications.
