Abstract: This study has documented a significant correlation between aggression and low self-esteem. Through a quantitative methodological approach, these two variables were tested alongside other factors. These included psychological problems, age, gender, nationality, marital status, faculty, education level and social status. The sample consisted of 75 participants (n=75; 50 females, 25 males) coming from different faculties within the University population. Correlations were used to test the relationships between; aggression and self-esteem, aggression and psychological problems, and self-esteem and psychological problems. The demographic factors' significance were also tested, whilst those being significant were further tested within groups. Results demonstrated the statistically significant relationships between aggression and low self-esteem, psychological problems and aggression, psychological problems and low self-esteem, together with the variables of marital status and gender. This study documented that high psychological problems and low self-esteem are the highest significant variables that correlate with high levels of aggression.
