Abstract: The main goal of this action research was to develop a website which will host a variety of multi-media resources and activity ideas which can be accessed by Year 5 primary teachers. In a rapidly developing technological world, teachers should strive to make use of resources that will result in a motivating learning experience for their students. Teachers will also have the possibility to comment on the resources and share their own ideas and resources with the hope of strengthening a community of practice among teachers which will result in better professional development. Feedback on the website was gathered by means of an online survey, results of which also shed light on teachers' attitudes towards the use of Information and Communications Technology in education. Findings of the study show that teachers have a positive attitude towards the use of information technology in their teaching. However, educators seem to show concern towards the use of multi-media resources for subjects taught in Maltese. Lack of awareness of local educational websites further emphasizes this concern. Feedback received on the website shows that by identifying and addressing teacher concerns resulted in a website which is easily accessible by teachers which encourages the use of multi-media resources in their teaching.
