Abstract: The aim of this dissertation was to design and develop a number of mathematics activities for the Promethean Interactive Whiteboard for Form 1/Form 2, Scheme A mathematics students in connection with the 'Shape, Space and Measurement' section. It was designed using the van Hiele's theory of geometric thought, with particular attention to the phases of instruction and the adaptation of the level of geometric thought of the learners. The Resource Pack features a variety of tasks; ICT, problem-solving, games, quizzes, videos, drawing and construction and practical tasks. ActivInspireSoftware was used to develop the interactive flipcharts. Microsoft Publisher was used to produce accompanying worksheets and lesson notes. Microsoft Word came in handy for the development of some activities while Microsoft PowerPoint was used to produce associated presentations. A variety of software packages including Cabri Géomètre II, and MicroWorlds Logo were used with a selection of activities. The pack was evaluated by a sample of teachers and students, a Head of Department and Education Officer for mathematics. A critical analysis have been made to the results obtained from the evaluation process and was employed to further improve the resouce pack. The dissertation ends with a discussion on the main conclusions of this research project and suggestions for further work were put forward.
